Liberian Senate Head Sets Condition for New Bank Notes

Monrovia — Senate Pro-tempore, Armah Jallah, says the request from President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf requesting approval from the National Legislature to print new bank notes requires careful observation and scrutinizing. Pro-tempore Jallah told reporters that there is a need for the commissioning of an audit to establish what may have gone wrong with the country's economy which may have necessitated the request from the Executive.
