Senator Jallah Supports Liberia's Food Security Agenda

President Pro-Tempore of the Senate Armah Z. Jallah has pledged his commitment to Liberia's food security initiatives which are undertaken to ensure that Liberians have enough food to eat. Senator Jallah made the commitment recently when he led a team of friends and family members to harvest rice on his farm in Gbarpolu County.
The Senator and his colleagues in the legislature are on their annual agriculture break from October to the second Monday in January 2016. The break starts in August every year but this year President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf requested the lawmakers to defer their break in order to pass pending bills.
