Speaker Tyler Wants Liberians Set Standards for Electing National Leaders

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alex J. Tyler, has challenged Liberians to set standards for electing national leaders. He observed that the current Liberian electorate is driven by 'misplaced and misguided sentiments', noting that this needs to change during the 2017 Presidential and General Elections.
Speaker Tyler was speaking at the weekend at the Center for Intellectual Exchange of Opinions on Carey Street in Monrovia on the topic: "The Role of Opposition Political Parties in Multi-party Democracy".
